Sam Allberry: Hi I’m Sam Allberry. I’m with Ray Ortlund and I’m excited to let you know about a new podcast we’re going to be launching every soon called You’re Not Crazy: Gospel Sanity for Young Pastors. We’ll be over the course of a few episodes trying to explain why if you’re a young pastor you will want to see a connection between the grace of God received in Jesus and seeing that grace then express itself and shape and define the kind of church you are operate in, the kind of relationships we have in our churches.
Ray Ortlund: Gospel doctrine creates gospel culture. And this is especially helpful I think to any young pastor who sometimes—let’s be honest—is tempted to give up, is tempted to even hate the ministry, and is wondering “What on earth have I signed up for? How do I get out of here? Why do I resent what I do? Am I in danger of no longer believing in this ministry?” And we would like the privilege of serving you and putting fresh heart into you because you’re not crazy.
